I discovered a few things along the way. 1. It's not easier to write in June than November. I'm a homeschool mom and I thought the whole we're-out-of-school-I'll-have-more-free-time thing would be in my favor, it was not. 2. When you're writing in a genre and with characters that aren't as familiar to you it might be a good idea to plot a little more. Otherwise they end up singing camp songs to add to your word count. 3.
