This is a forum for us to express and share ideas, offer encouragement, share our success and relax leading up to and during the annual contest. This should be a pleasant experience for everyone.
1. NO POLITICAL TALK. The Democrat/Republican debate is worse than Mac/PC, Chevy/Ford, Domestic/Import, and Sega/Nintendo debates combined. If you want to talk politics, go find a political thread and argue there. I won't put up with the stupid arguments that ALWAYS arise from those discussions. Your political agenda has nothing to do with writing a novel in 30 days.
2. If you insult the intelligence or writing capabilities of another member, I will attack you with a vengeance. Feel free to offer constructive criticism, but if your comments are not constructive and positive, then don't post them. If you see a problem, offer tips on how to correct the problem. Be polite. Senseless bashing of writers will not be tolerated.
3. No SPAM. Don't plug the boards with links to your myspace page or your favorite band. Don't tell us all that we must go Green or to check out a specific movie. There's a SPAM section. Shamelessly plug your stuff there. If it's anywhere else, it will be deleted. You may link outside media if it pertains to a discussion.
